Teachers/Administrators
Thank you for your interest in articulating with Citrus College. To have your courses considered for articulation, please follow the steps below.
Please read before proceeding: An Institutional Agreement between the USD/ROP must be in place before starting a Course-to-Course Articulation Agreement. Click here to view Institutional Agreements in place, if you do not see your USD/ROP listed, please contact the Career Pathways Specialist.
STEP 1: DOWNLOAD AND REVIEW THE COLLEGE COURSE CURRICULUM
- From the dropdown menu on the right, please select the curriculum that best matches your course and review it for alignment. (Note: only courses that are currently available for articulation will be on the dropdown menu)
- Before you submit an articulation request, ensure the high school course closely aligns with the college's course curriculum.
- If the course you want to articulate is not listed in the dropdown menu section, please contact the Career Pathways Specialist.
STEP 2: CREATE AN ACCOUNT
- Both the high school/ROP teacher and the high school/ROP articulation administrator will need to create an account to start the process.
- To create an account, go to Sign In and use Creating a New Account guide (pdf). (Hint: If your school uses Google, please see option 2 on page 3, if not use option 1)
- When creating an account, you will be asked to select the school district. If you are a high school teacher hired through ROP, select the ROP as the district, not the USD of the school.
- Once your account has been approved, you will be directed to your dashboard where you can start the articulation process (teachers start this process, not the administrators). View Submitting a New Articulation Request guide (pdf) for step-by-step instructions on how to submit an articulation request.
- Required documents to be considered for articulation
- Course Syllabus
- Course Outline (as submitted to the state)
- Final Exam/Other Assessments
- Copy of Fall Roster(s) – (only for the sections you wish to articulate)
- Your request will go through a series of approvals. Please see Articulation Roles & Process Diagram.
- You will be notified by e-mail when a decision has been made on your request or if you need to provide faculty with more information.
You may check the status of your request at any time by signing into your account and viewing your dashboard.
CTE Articulation agreements will need to be renewed every academic year. An earlier review may be requested by faculty if there is a significant change in the course curriculum/materials or if a signing teacher or faculty leaves their position.
STEP 3: MY CLASS HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY ARTICULATED, NOW WHAT?
The Career Pathways Specialist will email you and the high school articulation administrator a copy of the CTE Course-to-Course Articulation Agreement.
